As a peaceful warrior, I would choose when, where and how I would behave.
With that commitment, I began to live the life of a warrior.

 Take a Breath

On a cellular level, Oxygen is the key ingredient in all processes that involve the absorption of nutrients, the energy cycle of the cell itself, and the elimination of toxins from the cell. If there is not enough oxygen in the blood and delivered to the cells, then this process breaks down.

Important side note: Insufficient Oxygen in the blood also reduces the "line-of-defense" of the human immune system.

Get breathing gang. Zowie!

How do you breathe? Yoga, CrossFit, walking, meditation? Well, whatever your choice, just get it done!

In, pause and Out, ahhhhh ~jgirl

I've found that intervals and hill repeats are more important at high altitude. I don't have ready access to thick air, and they say you get a better muscular workout if you can feed your muscles adequate oxygen. I've found the next best thing is intervals with some recovery between sprints. There are lots of ultra runners living at altitude missing this.

i agree. and i am only at 2,000 feet. but i enjoy training the intervals slightly elevated.

our cells are pretty amazing and adapt very well when given the chance!
