As a peaceful warrior, I would choose when, where and how I would behave.
With that commitment, I began to live the life of a warrior.

Weekend Inspiration~
thanks Jordan Rubin for prompting today's message!

Is Your Body Truly a Temple?
Paul tells us: "What know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Primary to optimal health is how we treat our physical body — what we eat, how much and how well we sleep, and how much stress we encounter. After all, it's hard to focus on the spiritual when your body is crying out for help, whether due to disease, obesity, or lack of energy. What steps have you taken this week to treat your body as a sacred and important place?

Whatever your spiritual practice is...it is important to find your balance. It is easy to overcompensate in one area or another and then just tip over. When you are lying sideways wondering what happened...recognize that YOU have a great opportunity. There is no perfect, only perfect for you.

Remember, no one area of life is more important that the other. It all works together and I believe is divinely orchestrated (you know...higher power at work...just one girl's belief). With spring arriving, it is a time for renewal and reflection. Take advantage it, it can be very deep and rewarding.
If you are curious about Jordan, he has an amazing story and some great recipies as well. Just steer clear of the soy, otherwise, very sound and nutritive advice.

Finding and reaffirming the balance in my temple! ~j
