As a peaceful warrior, I would choose when, where and how I would behave.
With that commitment, I began to live the life of a warrior.

Broths truly are beautiful. This time of year they are warming and nourishing as well. The nutrient value is stellar! They support recovery from athletic events, surgery, illness or wear and tear.

Enjoy browsing these links. Broth is very easy to make if you have a heaing source, pot, fresh water and some basic ingredients.

Hey Jgirl!
I think everyone should read "The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying"- very cool that you've turned those pages. If you haven't already, check out some of the writings of Thich Nhat Hanh & Lama Surya Das- excellent stuff there as well.

You were right about the veggies in the smoothies- not bad at all! I'm taking baby steps but incorporating organic spinach/celery right now and plan to expand from there.

What is your 2.5 cents on organic non-fat milk?

Thanks for the all the great info!

Thanks for the recommendation Mike. I will look forward to it.

Awesome on the greens. I find parsley to be a little more green, but dandelion greens, now they blend pretty well when you are ready to expand. Just enjoy as you go and you can't go wrong.

Organic milk is definately the way to go. I prefer whole and raw when possible. Less processing and the body know what to do with healthy fats. I do recommend milk in moderation. Many people have an underlying allergy or irritation due to every day use. If you are drinking milk for calcium, you will get more from your greens.

Hope that helps! Great to hear from you. Stop back by anytime :-) ~j
