As a peaceful warrior, I would choose when, where and how I would behave.
With that commitment, I began to live the life of a warrior.

"Calmness is the cradle of power."
~Josiah Gilbert Holland

How often are we running through our days...literally. From one task or activity to the next.

  • Today consider finding your stride.
  • Find your groove.
  • Stop and find out why you are putting yourself through the crazy.

What are really the important priorities to you. Schedule them into your day first. Then, the nice to haves. When you find this balance, you will feel as if you are the one driving, instead of your life driving you. When you are planning for the important things...remember that the foods you eat should be a priority up there with...well, let's be honest...breathing.

Give yourself time to plan meals weekly, shop weekly, prepare a few meals with the intention of nourishing and rejuviating yourself.

Find your calm, your power to make choices that reflect health. ~j

Jgirl- how goes it!?

Ditto Kelly's thoughts...just catching up on your blog and that positive energy really is contagious eh?! Keep it rolling!

Happy to report that the diet..or rather the disciplined eating is going well...funny how your body adjust to alot less calories in, once you "train" it!

MIKE!!! I missed you...have to check in with your blog to see what you are up to :-)

Thanks for the kind words.

On the diet...I'll let you in on a little secret...the more effeicient your metabolism is (which we can now really understand through a simple blood chem panel)...the less you have to eat to sustain health...it's all the external junk that we are used to eating that actually gets in the way!

I want you to be careful though and not deplete!! You have too much to do to have a glitch in your immune system.

Glad to hear your report of good things!! I want you to get your hands on a book called The Performance Zone, if you haven't already. Written by Drs John Ivy and Robert Portman. They are from the university of texas and have done some great research. I think you'll enjoy it.

Many blessings...so glad to hear from you :-) ~j
